Cam journal clean up?

Barely (IMO) damaged. I feel comfortable cleaning it up and putting it back in...probably with a new cap.
Question is, what I can smooth it out with?

Apparantly getting new caps is a major thing...unless i buy a new head lol.

well the plan is to clean it up some with emery cloth.
Not buying a new head, and not looking to waste the time for a machine shop to get new caps.
