I would not run a paper gasket on anything over 300 whp personally. I had a 360ish whp 240sx for 2 and half years and never had any issues with it when I sold it but if you have luck with paper gaskets then have at it.
I was talking about the the synchro whining thing, the sr trannies all do it. My 240 does it, the nx does it, of course it could be from lugging around 200+ lb fat asses all day but they and all my other buddies 240s do it. A 350-360 whp 240sx is fast, very fast. If it hooks right you are looking at a high 10 low 11 second car. Definitely worth the effort if you do it right. I smoked GSXRs with mine.
