procedure for replacing trunk hinge
The diver's side trunk hinge in my 91 ser broke. I've secured a replacement hinge, but was wonder what the correct way to install it was. Can I just leave the passenger side one attached and try and remove the bad one to install new? Maybe just prop up the one side with something, or should I take the entire trunk lid off, bolt up the new hinge and re-install lid? Seems like there ought to be a simple way?

I believe you will need to remove the tension bars to get at the broken hinge.

hinge
understand about removing the tension bars.....my concern is, with the bars remove, if I remove just the driver's side hinge, will the still remaining passenger's side hinge be enough to support the trunk lid while I install the new hinge ?
