help on b14 to b15 trans. swap
Hey i drive a 01 sentra se 2.0 automatic my transmission went out a few months ago and i dont want to put another auto trans in it i have a b14 transi no you can do the b15 to b14 swap so can a b14 transmission be put in a b15

Just look at the mounts...if they`re the same then yes...LOL

ok sorry for not posting much can i just use the clutch and cable from the b14 and do you think i will run into anything difficult

as in wiring shiftlinkage etc. i didnt think it would be hard at all just wanted to make sure im not looking past anything

You will need a bunch of parts to swap over to a 5speed (slave/master cyliners, clutch pedal, shift linkage/stabilizer/mounts) Not sure about the whole transition to cable from hydraulic too.

Also, your axle and a b14 axle probably aren't the same.

ok thanks i kno all that is involved with the auto to manual swap and i was concerned about the axles but i figured if you can put the b15 tranny in a b14 without axles then you could do the b14 to b15 but i was wondering about that too

the reason i dont want to do the b15 tranny is cause its just my beater and im not trying to dump a extra grand on a b15 transmission

Why not just a b15 non lsd transmission? Those can be had fairly cheap. Though if this is just your beater it sounds like the work you would need to go through converting hydraulic to cable and auto to manual would not be worth it. Either go with another auto tranny I say; or get another beater that is a 5 speed.

yea i see what your saying i kno where broke down b14's are and i dont mind putting in the time and i already have a b14 trans so..... its a why not for me my prob. is finding a b15 trans. for a good price lsd or non lsd
