Thread: Whats this wire go to? B13 SE-R

Im in the middle of putting my harness back onto the motor. ( 92 SE-R Harness )

W10 Avenir Motor

Doing a partial wire-tuck and I cant figure out what this wires goes.

Towards the transmission side of the injector harness there is 2 plugs. One is taped up so im assuming that goes to nothing and is for testing or something. But how about the one in my hand? Now remember this is a JDM motor.

looks like temp sensors wires?

Temp sensor is on the other side of motor. I have those all set already.. Thanks though.

first wire plugs into main harness.second wire is to vacuum thing on back of intake

Hmm let me see if that 2nd wire reaches it looks short.

I got more pictures... I think this is for ABS which has been deleted..

the taped plug is for the egr temp sensor. only california models had it.. the other is for your vacuum solenoids to switch warm air into your intake. if your ripping all of your emissions crap dont worry about it..

Well than that makes sense!!! The harness is my OEM 92 Harness, The motor is a JDM Avenir ( NO EMISSIONS STUFF )

Yeah both of those are for the egr system. The one at the end of the harness your holding normally went to a solenoid that triggers the egr, The other one is for the egr temp which like they said only cali models came with that. That is the factory tape that is holding it in the picture. It just stays like that. So both of those are useless if your not running any emissions at all. Soo many wrong answers in this thread. lol

Thanks Ashton, I noticed two more plugs like that under the intake manifold area that now have no wheres to go with the JDM motor.. Im assuming its normal to have 3 or so plus that go to nothing now. I have 2 others just like that close to the middle of the manifold/ back. ( same connector style with the metal clasp )
