from what ive read in other old threads on this forum or the old forum, a P/S cooler isnt needed unless you AutoX. the fluid only gets really hot if you are cornering a LOT... but in every day driving where ur on long straight-aways on the highway or making a few turns in the streets, your p/s fluid isnt going to get that hot. aftermarket coolers with fins are probably more functional than the stock "line style" ones. They look better, save space, and would be better for autox and doesnt get in the way of the intercooler like the stock nx2000 line cooler does.

This is the cooler that comes stock on a nx2000. i WISH it came with a fin style one by the strut tower.

and it mounts to the front of the altima just under the headlights behind the bumper....just about the same place the lines come out the front of the nx

and the more i look at it i think it's exactly the same as the b13 sentra one....just different mounts

Are there similar cars of different brand without this odd thing featured part? I also never understood the cooler under the resevoir close to the engine and a lot of seemingly unuseful piping in front of the radiator

Ordered this guy... Amazon.com: Derale 13210 Power Steering Cooler Kit: Automotive

It's a bit shorter, 8" vs 12", but has mounting plates, plus you get free Amazon shipping.
