200sx engine to nx2000 question?
So i know nothing about nx2000's, so just a quick question. I got my 96 200sx se-r stock engine up on cl for 175 bucks, guy messaged me wants to know if it will go in his 92 nx2000 with 250k miles and smokin like a bitch. Anything need to be switched around or what? I just dont want to sell him a motor and his ecu wont run it right and shit. Im pretty sure i know the answer lol but i just want to ask and be sure.

that engine needs to go to another b14 / late p10 owner who has a engine to get parts off of, we used alot of things from your old motor so its not really complete anymore..

Even if they got all the parts from their nx motor to go on it?

Seems like he just wants a head and block with less milage than his.

nx = highport, 200sx = lowport

he would need: a b14 throttle body, b14 IACV/AAC thingy, find all the nuts an bolts for the intake manifold and some how route his fuel injector harness in there somewhere..

he would need to use his b13 dist. which shouldnt be an issue, as well as his b13 ignitor, coil, temp sensors and maf

also he would need to figure out the EGR plumbing somehow or find a way to block it all off..

I put a 200sx engine in my 92 NX. Not really a big deal. Had to switch sensors and stretch a few wires. The IACV and all is the same. Injector harness worked fine. It looks alot cleaner than the old highport too.
