i have a 93 sentra se-r with sr20de apparently is highport,(im lookin to swap) believe my head is blown, have a guy with a 91 lowport . will the 91 fit in my 93 with no probs? will adjustments have to be made? or is it just not worth it?

You have the terms backwards. Highports have the low throttle body and came in 1991-1993.5 cars. Lowports have the high throttle body and came in 1993.5-1999 cars.

The heads or engines can be swapped pretty easily, but there are occasional vacuum line differences. With a little logic you can get it done no problem. If you're not used to this sort of thing, it might be a task you might want to skip.

You will need the head and intake manifold from the donor car. Also maybe even the intake boot and maybe the air box.

I'm saying that halfway through the 1993 model year they changed which engine was installed in the car. The early production 1993 cars had the highport head. The later production 1993 cars had the lowport head. This is common parlance for mid-model-year changes.

hmm..sounds like a lotta work and im not sure the donor has all the parts. he said its just the motor with alt, pc pump, and intake taken off. and ok thanks for clerifying. what motor would swap in easy besides the same motor?

Do you have pics you can post of your engine so we can make sure we're talking about the right one?

Basically, no engine is super easy to swap in except the same type. If you have a highport engine, you'll want to get another highport engine. They can be found in many cars though. 1991-1993.5 SE-R is just one car they came in. The also came in early model Infiniti G20 cars. Even if it was from an automatic G20 it will work just fine. That's usually what I end up buying from the local salvage yard.

That is a highport engine you have. So you have an early model 1993 car. That means a 1991 engine is going to be a direct fit for you.
