Thread: What setup for DE to maximize torque from 3-6k?

Flywheel, S3's, 2.5"?

What kind of mods are we looking at here to create a nice fat torque curve from 3-6k on a DE? Would dropping 10:1 pistons in be the most economical? I'm not looking to make peak WHP power, I'm looking for the fattest possible powerband between 3-6k without sacrificing torque.

t25 setup would actually be your best bet, besides it is easier to bolt on a turbo than to drop in 10:1 pistons which would be a minimal gain really. If you want to do pistons I would go with a higher cr than that.

what you said. The flywheel s3 and the exhaust should do fine if your looking to stay n/a.

Tomei makes a cam and has for a long time that would out do the s3 in that rev range. Poncam 256 11 something lift. You won't find much info on dyno numbers anywhere that I have found though.

I used to have those cams a few years ago. They did not make a difference like s3's or s4's.
