Thread: which timing mark ?

well i went thoroughly through the advance procedure and advanced my timing
my question is ,if i place the timing light at the pulley it says 15 degrees and when i unplug the tps it says 19 degrees
so which will be the correct timing mark ,i did the procedure with the tps disconnected hence the 19 degrees
i noticed the rpm was about 800rpm and after adjusting my dizzy slot its about half, i've seen pictures with other dizzy almost completely turned to the firewall that read 19 degrees

The timing might jump around until it is put in timing mode. Once in timing mode you should be reading the base timing.

If the dizzy is centered most likely it is still at 15*.
