Newb With Trans Issues

I hope someone can help. I have a 2000 Sentra 2.0 5-speed. I recently changed the motor mounts as the front and rear were toast. I assume it was a part of the problem. The transmission is making a whining and squealing sound from the drivers side. I replaced the clutch & TOB, both wheel bearings and had the drivers CV rebuilt. None of that has helped.
I did find a 2001 GXE 1.8 5-speed and was wondering if I can replace the trans with that buy using my bell housing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
