b14 clutch cable?
I need to replace the clutch cable on my bros car as it just snapped on him when he was driving... No where here has it in stock so I was wondering if the ga version of clutch cable was the same thing? He needs his car for school so I'm trying to help him out getting it back on the road quick

Whoaaa whooo buddy before you even buy one of those cheap pieces of shit from autozone make sure you purchase a original Nissan clutch cable or you will regret it trust me on this!!!!! You will see the difference immediately. USE OEM only on this part.

Also if the clutch has 2 positions, up or floor that means clutch cable right? I had my bro pick it up and push it back down while looking at the cable and there was no movement

Edit: Nvm, I took a look at it more closely with a flashlight and sure enough, the cable is broke...

I've bought 2 OEM cables from the dealer and both were too mushy feeling. The lube inside them had dried up and required me to re-lube them. After that, they worked great.

... But, I've used the LUK cable from autozone on like 10 different cars and never had to lube it or anything and it is 1/2 the price. I don't know what brand of cable you guys got, but maybe you got the crappy one they sold years ago.

mine snap going from first to second...i agree with buying oem clutch cable...i bought one of those autozone brand, LuK whatever it is call and didn't even last 6 months...the rubber piece at the opposite end that goes through the piece of medal through the fire wall ate it good...so i compared it to oem....the oem design is better...so replace it back with the original cable and no problem since..
