I snapped a drivers side axle backing up once. It sheared in half and i was very impressed with the destruction.

Same reason why if you have a flat on the front and have to use a donut, you need to put the donut on the rear and use the rear for the spare up front. you will ruin your LSD by leaving the donut up front.

STICKY THIS! please.

Looked under and sure enough it was pissing out gear oil. I drove the car home 45 miles. So consider yourself lucky.

Lets just say i never ran at the track on low pros ever again and went back to using my 14" wheels with falkens on them and tire pressure lowered. I did 500 or so drag passes using the 14" wheels and tires at about 18 psi and never had wheel hop.

Damn I guess Ill lower the pressure next time. Would it be safe to drive home on tires with that low of pressure?

i would stop at the nearest station. Im sure you could find someone at the track with a compressor to air them up before you leave as well. I would not drive home on them that low but yes its possible.
