Engine codes p0325, p0110
On my way to work I noticed the car bogging/ hesitating at low rpms (under 4000) like it usually does but it lasted longer than usual, I looked on the scangauge and it had p0325 (knock sensor), and p0110 (iat malfunction), the o2 heater circuit malfunction comes up every once in a while. This is the first time I've seen the knock sensor one come up.
The car is a 98 sentra with a ve swap, it was tuned for 87 octane and that is what I've been using for the last 15,000+ miles, I've had the car since january, use 87 octane and fill up almost every day,
The iat reads -40 on the scan gauge and is hooked up, when I changed the coolant hose under the intake manifold I noticed a wire that was frayed
I traced it to the knock sensor but the frays seem to be a shield around the wire, I just put electrical tape around the connection and put everything back together, recently the coolant temp sensor (gauge) has been acting up, I tried replacing it but it still does it, I suspect its the wire somewhere, the ecu sensor reads fine (that's the one I go by)
Do you think the knock sensor is something to worry about? could I have gotten some watered down gas? (happened at 1/2 tank), I usually only go to 2 gas stations one by my work and one by my house one is a bp, and the other is a sams club, I've been getting a consistent 29-32mpg all highway, I use castrol syntec 10w-30 and change it every 3000- 4000 miles (like 2- 4 weeks)
