stock cam question
So I've got myself a 96' sr20de motor. My old turbo (DE+T)motor was out of a primera, was wondering if I could swap the cams from the primera to the na car to see any little gains.

The DET cams are all really bad for making power. I would guess they would be worse than your '96 N/A cams, if not basically the same. You can compare at least the lift specs by looking at the 1996 FSM cam data versus the '91 intake cam, '99 intake cam and the W10/W11 cam data Vadim and I posted in a thread.

yeah I saw that thread and It made me want to ask this question. Thing is, they aren't DET cams, I boosted a uk primera motor..that's what the spair cams are from.

Oh my bad. By all means swap those intake cams. You should see measurable gains. I can't say for sure if the exhaust cam would be an upgrade or not. Sorry. =/

Yep this is Meen...

if you take a phone pic, send it to me... It's a 10:1 de from what I remembered during brief conversations. Most of the difference comes from the pistons last I remember but facts are better than recollections. If the motor is a highport the intake cam will yield results regardless... but to be sure... Look up specs on the uk 10:1 cams...
