Thread: Pass window not working

Guys I bought this 01 SE and the window has been screwed up since. The window goes down about an inch and stops. If you force it down to about half way it works fine up and down till which you get half way back up and it stops. I have no idea what's wrong with it I've never really messed with a window before so I don't know if it's the motor, the regulator or what. I tried lubing everything up and it help a little bit but still gets stuck. Anyone have any ideas before I go blowing money on parts lol

It might be off track, I haven't seen that on a Nissan but half the cab fleet at work have windows that do that (like the POS I had tonight).

Can you see what is going on when you pull the door card?

look at the teeth on the regulator. My window on my civic did the same thing and it was because it was missing a tooth!

I have the door panel off, but I can't really see anything.The motor spins good then just stops, about all I can see.

We do more regulators than motors.

Maybe I'll try that then, sure seems like the motor has power and everything and is working good till that point. Just weird a car with 45k miles has this problem haha

Yes def sounds like a regulator to me .
