im honestly not to sure i used some large gauge aftermarket crap harnesses from advance auto. i did use heat shrink and soldered them up all perdy like. useing a solder gun i think you will likely love so much you'll steal it (let me know if you want one and ill get one for you) this time i am going to pillage the connectors from jensens wreck and splice in an extra ground strap like regrounding a MAF.

I dunno man, it's weird how I did my NX without any issue at all.

too bad they don't make 9004 Phillips Narva's!!

I decided to go halogen headlamps and HID fog's.

You have the wires switched around. Take the hot leads from your low/high beams and switch them and it'll work fine.

Yep, we all need to make grounding straps for our SSAC Headers & downpipes. The O2 sensor uses the header/downpipe for grounding and our cars are not grounded....

We need to make some straps using heavy gauge wire or oem-like grounding straps. Then we need to attach to header or downpipe or cat....

Yep.. The OEM Header & downpipe provided the negative ground for the O2 sensor. Ive been testing the quality of all of my engine grounds and found that my SSAC header is not providing a good ground at all (off by about 45%). This may effect the O2 sensor proper operation. Im not sure but Im looking at ways to properly ground the header or at least the O2 sensor.

I also have an Infiniti Q45 which has an OEM Stainless Steel exhaust. It has 2 large grounding straps attached to the Cat. I performed a grounding test with & without the grounding straps. And guess what? The difference was about 45% lower. Im thinking b/c the hangers are rubber and the only grounding taking place is at the Cat hangers and the header bolts. Its really a big difference...

So, Im not nuts over here!! LOL
Just getting strange readings at idle from my NEW O2 sensor...

When I did my header-back setup, I got a new knit-wire strap at Napa and installed it in the OEM-style position. It was a lot longer, though, so I had to install it on the far side of the cat, loop it over the exhaust pipe, and around the rubber hanger to take the slack out.

Wow. I never knew about this negative ground for the o2 sensor, coming from the exhaust. It kinda doesn't make sense, as the header itself is grounded to the block, by way of manifold studs. I guess if you wanted to IMPROVE your ground, you could ground the exhaust directly to the chassis... For the record, I don't have any strange readings whatsoever on my o2 sensor, since I replaced it.
