So I still had my starter from my ga and I changed the solonoids and it works perfect. I think there was a flat spot on the solonoid.

Ok nevermind. I started it up everything was fine then I took it to my friends house to check idle problems. Started it up twice and it was fine. Then when I go to leave it does it again. Nothing. And then when leaving it wouldn't go past 2000rpms but after about 20 seconds it was fine. Oh and I did notice when I tried to jump the starter nothing happened so I think that wire from the solonoid to the plug into the car harness went bad

not going past 2000rpm, in the other post you said it sometimes has hunting idle, dying between shifts, to me definitly sounds like a dirty maf, or the maf grounds need to be checked out.

good to hear you're starting to isolate the problem...

ya it was really weird it only did it for like 20 seconds then it was fine. Im going to get a wire to the solnoid and see if that was the problem

So I replaced the solenoid wire and it worked fine. Then I took it for a spin and then parked and it wouldn't start again. I think I just need a new starter. I'll check here on the forums first

eh to me i dont think its the starter its possible, however a bad starter normally will click very loudly, and then when you hit it with a mallot or hammer it will turn over.

if its not clicking or trying to turn over, i doubt your starter is bad, has to be something else, ive replace MANY starters and never had then just not work, they either clicked when trying to start or they would get stuck and need a hit or 2 to start the car.

at most i would pull the starter and test it out and see if it works, but i dont think thats the problem, it could be though.

just dont want you going out and buying parts that might not work. or fix the problem at hand

The reason I say it's my starter is because when I jump the solenoid nothing happens and I know the solenoid is good so it has to be the mechanical parts in the starter that are locking up

I've had a starter do absolutely nothing and then when pecked work just fine...I agree though, you need to be sure it's the starter before you drop the money into a new one. A pullapart starter might even be worth the money if it will tell you for sure that it's a starter problem.

Did you clean both sides of your battery ground yet? The other grounds?
