Thread: Car wont start...Nothing happens

dont you guys have junk yards you can go to, to suffice the problem for now ?

Hey, check your "sub wiring harness" on the Battery to starter.. Make sure everythings tightened up right, also make sure all the connections on the starter are nice and tight.

If everything turns up good, have a friend try to start the car, while you hit the starter with a crow bar, or something like it.. Make sure you give it a "GOOD" couple of hits, while your friend is trying to start it.. If it starts like that, then its your starter.. and sometimes you can perform this procedure, and not have to replace your starter because it unsticks the solenoid/shaft.

Thanks to all contributors in this thread, my NX had been having the same wierd starting issue. All my lights and stuff were on, I could here the fuel pump prime and would just sit there... I checked all my grounds(again) and found some issues. I purchased some 15" grounding straps from Advance Auto and now she fires right up and idles a little better. I think I have a mis-fire probably from injectors but thats for another day. She starts now!
