Thread: n60 VS e60 maf

I'm looking to get a ecu tuned for ve with an e60 maf. But I was wondering if there is a big difference in the n60 and the e60.

Would the ecu need to be re tuned for a n60 if I went that was and got a better deal than a e60 both with pigtails?

I new to the whole ecu chipped world so need to be sure before I start spending the extra money for a re tune.

I believe the ecu reads both of those the same, but am not 100% sure.

N60 is the same plug as N62. N60 came in older Maxima's, pre 1995.

E60 is a 3 wire plug, came in newer Maxima's 1995-1996.

The tunes are not interchangeable without modifying the VQ Table and K value.
