P10 trans in a classic?
Just like it says. Ive been driving my b13 off and on for a couple years with no fifth gear. Im tired of messing with the G i have and its led a good life. Its pushign 300k on the orig motor. I do have a good trans with a brand new clutch and all the goodies that go along with it in the G. The G is running horrible and getting like 18 mpg. I cant figure out why. Ive changed some things ie knock sensor, cat etc etc ran code checks and its not giving me much info and it still runs rich as hell. Fuel pump is good fuel filter is good. Iacv seems to be working fine..so i think im done with it. My question is after much searching i cant find the info i need. I heard u can put the G trans in a se-r?..i know ill loose the LSD but i figure its toast after all these years anyway. I think the nicer gearing in the G trans will help with gas mileage and i can have my orig SE-R trans rebuilt the right way while im using the p10 trans. Is this a bolt in affair. If i remember correctly i need a diffrent axle for one side but which?

If its not a bolt in what do i need besides the axle?

it will all go in fine, you will need an driver axle from a 98-99 se/sel

the passenger axle in your se-r will work in a open diff trans

P10 hubs are different, you will need both axles. Use the carrier bracket from your P10, with the axles from a non LSD SR20 B14 as listed above
