Are you pulling the lever to the left as you put it into 2nd? I used to do that, because that's where 2nd gear was, but after installing a urethane stabilizer bar mount my 2nd gear "moved" to the right a tiny bit and ended up perfectly and directly behind 1st gear, if you catch my drift. Using my old shifting style I wouldn't be able to "find" 2nd gear and nothing would happen. Try finding 2nd gear slightly to the right (or left) of where you're used to?

I'm used to it being to the left. Like drag it along the left and pull down... I'll have to try that today HMM

Have u tightened or loosened the cable again? Try the extremes and see if that helps... this happened to me after I installed a new cable.

Yeah I adjusted the cable with it up on jack stands and looked for the engage point then adjusted it to have maybe 1 1/2" of room after it engages to the floor. It seemed to help to where it would at least go in @ 5krpm but thats like a full second in between shifting =\

Well I figured out what the problem was... I broke the front bolt off the piece that holds the shifter down and it was bending back. Glad I have a spare one lol :P I guess I don't know my own strength LOL
