I used duplicolor a few times. My 4x4 Frontier has been done for 30,000 miles so far,no chips or damage.I take my truck on construction sites and in the woods frequently, too.I maimly did them myself to see how it looked,so I can have them powder coated. But since they are doing so well, wtf,I will wait awhile.
I used 3 coats of gunmetal/graphite 3 coats of clear.
You must use the clear within like a few hours of the final coat, for it to cure right...ask me how I know,LOL.
If you wait too long it will wrinkle like mofo, and you will have to sand the whole wheel down and start over.
So leave yourself enough time to get the clear on,too. And use duplicolor clear so you know it will work.
If I had a hookup,I would rather have them done in Auto paint,if PC was not an option.
