it depends on if you are actually goingto adjust your fuel pressure. factory fuel presure is 3bar if you have the fuel system to up your system to 4bar such as, nismo afpr, fuel pump, fuel injectors and all that and then a way to adjust your fuel map from 3 bar to 4 bar. then the nism piece would benifit you.
larger injectors that can handle 4 bar
nismo afpr that can be adjusted to 4 bar
a fuel pressure gauge to make sure you are adjusting the fuel properly
a ecu that is setup for 4 bar or can be adjusted for 4 bar
larger fuel pump higher pressure or lph

that would be a good setup to have to truly utilize the nismo or any other adjustable fuel pressure regulator setup

however i recently went from the nismo piece back to stock fpr becuase the nismo one was leaking, i was running 3 bar with it, and since the stock uses 3 bar, it was a quick fix.

While Nismo FPR is a good drop in (after bending), alternative, they do tend to be somewhat crappy. Swiss lost his motor because the Nismo FPR started going lean.

I haven't had any trouble with mine, but am deciding if I really want to bother using it on my 550cc injectors yet. I might just go the Aeromotive route.

i agree the nismo unit isnt as far of quality that nismo usually brings to the table. mine started leaking after 10k miles and was causing a really rich condition.

What's wrong with OEM? If you want 4-bar base pressure, go with a 4-bar FPR. Bosch sells plenty I believe. Adjustable units never made any sense to me.

if your not sparaying, the stock inj and fpr is more than you will ever need, even with all the bolt-ons

Do they make one that bolts up Ben? This isn't necessarily to help me, but lots of people would love to know I'm sure.

I'm sticking with my stocker. 3bar should be more than enough pressure for me.
