They are nice, I think the name of the ones I like are braile or something. Buddy of mine uses it inhis 93 supra.

Ill run a red top, heavy but its got alot of juice.

Braille is good too, they too are made by deka.

There are 3 or 4 major makers of batteries

deka- braille, x2,
Johnson Controls- everstart
exide- interstate

The PC680s work well, i've used them in multiple vehicles. Currently, the b13 project runs a PC925, a little heavier...but this car is over built lol.

On a side note. I just started using LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) cells from A123 racing in a couple of RC cars. Run time and charge time is awesome! I wonder if you could use these cells/flat packs as a light weight racing battery hmm?

Myself and quite a few friends have had bad luck with them. Add in the fact that they are near 200 bucks now.

Im using a lawn mower battery. hehehe It about 15lbs, but its only $40 and very reliable. 330cca and I think about 450 ca Used it when it was zero degs a couple of years ago, and I used that same battery for about 4 years.
