Thread: 5th gear

Has anyone ever followed this how to write up on the 5th gear rebuild? B13 5th gear pop-out overhaul, with pics - SR20 Forum I am going to attempt this and was wondering if this guy left anything out. It seems pretty thorough.

Haha nice.. I was looking at the one on our forum which has less pics BUT the pics in it are all that is necessary.. My transmission is right here @ my feet taken apart right now and everything in the write up is perfect.

When you crack open the case it will look like its going to be complicated but its very simple.. Takes about 10 minutes to disassemble it all and 30-90 minutes depending on how smooth things going to put it back together.

/\ Ah yes my thread is helpfull and also "benfenner's" thread witch is linked off that thread and is very detailed on the actual break down of the 5th gear and its problem
Just take your time and you'll see its very easy to work on .
