Thread: Where do these pieces go in the transmission?

Anyone have a idea where these go? I'm clueless as to where they all go

on the bottom side of the trans.....there is a cap-one + screw holding it on,the steel check ball and spring go in there...im preety sure thats what give the return tension on the shitefer?

...and now that i look at it...io think that snap ring might be from when i replaced my ball jionts...

the other part....i forgot...

the large c clip and washer like thing go on the end of the long shaft after you slide the case back on

Make sure the snap ring seats fully. A lot of people don't.

the check ball and spring go on in the hole for the shift rod that need to be in there ! let me get a pic .....

I was following that guide and there is already a spring in there

Ok so then it's a extra spring and check ball from the other trans then As they only have one check ball and spring ! The only other sring is on the "fork" shAft and is thinner than that one . Double check u didn't mix them up .
