Thread: need help with my 92 sentra se-r

ok so bout a month ago im drivin down the road and my car over heats and the coolant boils out of the overflow tank, come to find out the guy i had just bout the car from "forgot " to tell me both the fan motors are blown. after this it goes in to a safety or "limp" mode and wont let me rev past 2500 rpm.... so whaat do i do i replace the head gasket. just fired it up and still the same problem wont rev past 2500.

can any one help me with this im out of ideas.

also noticed black carrbon biuldup shoot out of the tailpipe, i replaced the maf.... but i do belive i got a code for the tps how do i fix that?

also the idle dies affter i take my foot of tthe clutch in nutral

Reground the maf.

check for a vacume leak at the FPR

i did but it is possible i connected the fuel lines to the fuel rail in the wrong order it the one from the fuel filter sapose to go to the fpr or the fuel rail?

update... i blew out the fuel lines adjusted the idle screw regrounded the maf... replaced the distributer....... still no improvement wont hold idle......and imedeatly dies if i take my foot off of the clutch in nutral..... any ideas?
