Thread: This seems like a good deal.

I am starting to piece together parts for my P10 while it is on the road so I can knock out my swap in a weekend. Well while searching for clutches, I found this package deal. 280 bucks for a lightweight flywheel and Exedy clutch. Doesn't seem too bad at all. Any input? The last car I built, I did the Exedy Oem replacement PP and B15 disc with the Jwt flywheel. I really liked that combo and this seems pretty close to it. I wonder if this is a lightened OEM flywheel or an actual aluminum one.

Great deal for the price but the clutch is a basic stock unit. So this is not for cars makiing more than 180-200 WHP.

I will be making 160-170 at the most. I am just doing a de with bolt ons and cams. I do not drive my car aggressive at all and will be doing an auto cross or two a month at most.

I really liked my Exedy Stage 1. Looks like I had the Exedy stock replacement in my new P11 and it held up fine too.

Also that flywheel is probably 109 tooth, so if you have an OBDII car you will get a CEL.

My car is a 96. Is getting a CEL the worse that can happen when running a 109?

Okay. I will order this combo. The teeth are also cut in to the flywheel and not a separate ring so I don't have to worry about the ring shearing off.

Good find. I still have the stock clutch and flywheel on my '91. This will have to be my next thing on the "to do" list.
