Front O2 sensor wiring
Anyone know the color codes for the front O2 sensor on a 96 b14 se-r? I'm talking about the wires from the harness to the plug that the sensor plugs into.

I'm at work right now, but I think they are a brown/yellow, white, and orange wires. I lost the plug after making an extension, and now I don't remember wich wire is wich. I just need to know wich of these wires goes to the red, white, and black wires on the sensor.

Was going through the fsm, and found that the brown/yellow is +12. Still can't find anything certain on the other two. I'm thinking that the orange would be the signal, but the white /w black stripe has some heavy shielding around it.

Colors seem to be different for a few years. You have to check the order of the wires on the plug.

Look at the bottom diagram. Verify with fasm as always though

This is the stock 3 wire sensor. If anyone has these same color wires and sensor, could you take a pic of the harness plug connected with the wires showing on the ends of both plugs?

That would help me greatly!

No. After making my new downpipe, the stock sensor wires weren't long enough to reach. I don't know what I was thinking....apparently I wasn't. Instead of just splicing wire in-between at some point, I did away with both harness plugs and use quick-connects, then wrapped in heat-shrink tubing.

The other day, I was doing some work and had to remove the downpipe. It was a quick job and I thought I would remember wich wire went where. WRONG. About 4 hours later, when it was time to re-assemble everything, I had fogotten wich wire was wich. And my dumb ass didn't use different color wire or anything to differentiate any of them.

So if I just had a picture to go by, I could figure it out and correct my stupid mistake.

Both really. I need a shot of the O2 sensor plugs connected, and be able to see the wires coming from both ends.
