tensioner leaking alot!!!
i got a big problem i put some cams in a few weeks ago i go to start the car and alot of oil is coming out the timing chain tensioner.....i took it off change the gasket ...same thing i even changed the tensioner to another one same thing im totally lost right now idk what i did wrong or what is wrong.....could it be the head is bad or anything else i need help asap... thanks

did u make sure you didn't leave the washer on the stud and put the gasket down on it?

How tight are you torquing the nuts down to? Are the studs stripped? can you take them out of the head?

Sounds like it's not seating because the studs are stripped. Happened to me and I went with bolts instead of studs and nuts.

im just snugging them down and no they arent stripped i can take them out the head if i had to....idk bro what else im confused do you think anything internal or no

did you use a new gasket? picture?

idk well i put 3 different tensioners on and its all doing the same i use the same gasket and put silicone

take it off and take a close up pic of the block surface cleaned up.
