what is this tranny fw sr20de??





the guys told me its an sr20ve neo vll tranny.. but i just want to be sur, i want to put that in my 200sx se-r 1996 sr20de to replace my broken transmission, so would it bolt on?

yeap this is a sr16ve trans, this will bolt on to your sr20de. u will have to swap over the speedo gear to this transmission
another thing about this trans, its shorter gear ratio compare to the regular sr20de your car brought with.

What makes it stronger? Ive never heard that about the sr16 trannys.

I duno about it been a SR16, could be from a (99)P11 which would make it the same strength as the SR16, SR20DE transmission.

sr16 trans has ribbs case, not as strong as a b15 but not as weak as a b13/b14

thanks falcon, gota buy it today. i think this tranny was hydrolic clutch because there's a custom bracket for the clutch cable do im right?
