Power steering delete belt size..Stock pullies
hey guys just did my p/s delete with stock pullies. If anyone needs to know the belt size, i used a 25" three rib belt being they didnt have a 4 rib 25". It worked well. Goes right on easily.

If anyone remembers the thread that smoothdaddyfig started on the other forum he had the belt size for the ur racing pullies p/s delete. The belt smaller due to the pulley size difference. i didnt see any size on there with stock pullies. So now here it is. Dont know if someone wants to add this to general info.

Just to make this clear to everyone. You just removed the PS pump and did not add the idler pulley?

that is correct. i got the 24.5inch 4 rib belt and i am going to try it tuesday.

yes, no idler installed. I think the 24.5 inch belt will be a little too small. you might be able to stretch it but the 25" one fit nice and snug, not too tight and not too loose. it doesnt slip when i put torque on the water pump pulley. there isnt alot of stress there anyways so it shouldnt slip and squeel. I guess i will find out next week. I will let you know how it goes.

IIRC, I used a 3 rib 25" belt on my G20.

Oh god what a pain it was to get on with no idler pulley.

Were you able to get the 245k4 to work?
I got a good year that's 24.5 inches and I can't get it on, but 25 inch feels kind of loose.

Take all of the bolts out of the WP pulley but one, then put the belt on, then rotate the pulley up to tighten the belt, then put the other 3 bolts in the WP pulley. It should be snug, i think 1/2" deflection on the longest stretch.
