Thread: Using 300zx tt fuel filters on sentras

What is the purpose of using the 3oozxfuel filters on sentras and 200sx's I never understood the concept behind it. I did notice alot of members do this upgrade. What are the benefits if any, from doing this?

Its just a larger fuel filter. Figure it has more surface area to filter compared to the dinky stock sized unit.

less pressure drop across the fuel filter, the pump doesn't have to work as hard.

im thinking about doing this on car can oyu use any 300zx tt filter from like autozone or something like that or does it have to be nissan oem that is better?

I have an OEM (non 300ZX) filter in my toolbox and I am willing to sell it cheap!



I always recommend OEM.

do they normally stock them at nisan or is it order?

^purolator should be just as good. thats all ive EVER used on any car and never had a single problem. 36 cars and counting, and the ones i work on for other people.

does this apply to B14's as well. i got 1 was about to change and might take it back and swap it out if so.
