everyone is making 9 months seem like a long time, which to me is a joke. My FIRST relationship lasted 7 effing years and I am only 24. My current one is almost a year, and I still wouldnt sell her my SE-R in another 50 years.

yeah, my marriage lasted 8 years... that wasnt long at all...

these guys talking about giving the girlfriend of 9 months a car (a cult classic B14 at that) for free have obviously never seen the devistating effects of a divorce first hand

SR20?, your Classic is worth at least fair-market-value and then some. Known history, no issues, running like a top. That alone is rare enough in the used car market. Plus she gets the car, and you to fix and maintain it. At least while ya'll are together, that is like a free Bonus Warranty of sorts.

I see no issues with selling it above KBB. She needs a car, and where else is she gonnna find a 3K automobile with all that going for it? What kind of typical busted-peice-of-shit can she buy used for 3K? She apparently also likes your car quite a bit (amazingly smart chick).

If the sale works for both of you, I see no reason to not proceed with selling her your Classic for a "fair price" all things considered.

To be honest, I would never give my B13 away. Ever. Not to anyone. And to answer somebodys question, I'm 19. I could probably sell it for $2500 and make up the difference quickly with this new job at Firestone. I'm gonna be a GS haha. She is going out of town for the next 2 weeks to see her dad in Colorado with stage 4 cancer, so I can talk to her about the car when she gets back. I think I'm gonna sell it in order to get a G20.

i gave my girl my black nx2k when she got rid of her 08 trailblazer.

i would never give her my blue nx, but believe id give her my truck or buy her a vehicle if she needed.
