Blemco LCA question..
I bought a LCA brace that Blemco made.. If anyone remembers. It's a 2 point for the front. And I wanted to know if this is a straight bolt on. No added washers bolts or nuts needed?

I asked the seller and he said that it came as is when he got it. I don't know if it was ever mounted tho.

Wayne, I believe you just remove the bolts that go through the control arms and sleeve them back through the holes and rebolt down sir. I can't remember if its the nut or bolt side of the control arm... It acts as its own washer. Since it doesn't change anything an alignment shouldn't be needed. It's been a LONG time

Ok... I can't remember if I asked you or not. But I gave up... I couldn't get that bolt loose to save my life. Maybe on a lift.

Also I couldn't get my impact in there... so that was useless.

It ain't easy... can't remember the torque specs, but I'm pretty sure its like 80-90 at least... add years of dirt and not ever being removed and it could be a bish. Why can't you get the impact socket in there?

I use my foot on a big ass wrench. Big ratchet on the other end of the bolt.

Well found out that the bolt is a 22MM... so got 2 of those. OHH and they were out of the 3 piece drill bit set... but my wife found the last one on a end cap. LOVE HER!

Using my foot never works out... unless it's up someone's ass.

I've been able to get those loose with an U-Joint on an impact. No way you can get straight-on though.

If I could pull them off my 185K, 20 year old MN car, they'll come off of anything

I got the harbor freight impact gun in there when I was taking the LCA brace off to access other things. I don't know the specifics on your brace, but my progress LCA brace came with replacement bolts that were longer than the OEM ones I took out.

I guess just hold your brace up to the LCA to see if you'll still have enough room to get plenty of thread on the nut before you take it all apart.
