Thread: Which Head Studs??

=noob haha.

Bumping this real quick instead of starting another thread. I got a local Honda guy who has a set of ARP B16 headstuds that were used once in an all motor app. He parted out the motor and I saw the headstuds. I am pretty sure he told 40$ for them. He thinks I'm crazy for trying use them in an SR20. I figure they are the same length/design as the GE product but not 100%. Can anyone confirm or should I just not waste my money and get GE B16 headstuds?

Mazworx has studs too.

The b16 arp will work but it's the same as the sr20 one.

Ah. Oh well thought I might of lucked out. I might still do it instead of reusing a set of stock headstuds. Motor is N/A so I should be ok.

Anything under 400hp, stock is fine.

Yeah I just feel iffy about using the stock units for a 3rd time. I hear you can get away using them for a second time but then they are paper weights.

I wouldn't reuse them.

Do things right the first time or.... well you know what could happen.

^ya, DONTTT use them 3 times!!! 2 is even a push if youve been wraping the engine out a lot.
