88 Supra seats in a NX?
Has anyone ever tried this? I was at a junk yard today and sat in them. They are actually very comfortable and supportive. They have lumbar adjusters too. Pretty up to date and stylish for an 88. It looks like they would actually fit in an NX size wise. They will definitely need to be recovered though. I like them better then ser seats or any others I've seen. So what do you guys think?

Yeah they probably are. I saw 2 of them out there. Don't know what year the other 1 was but it had electric slider. I'm going to get the manual, but ill be swapping the sliders anyway. They are a hella lot cooler and more comfy than the pos seats they put in the nx. I like the funky headrest design. How much does it usually cost to recover seats with basic cloth?

+1 on the supra seats . They are very suportive . I would also look at old VW seats from a gli jeta or 90's gti seats they are very supportive for spirited driving .

Well sadly it's a no go for the supra seats. I called around getting quotes to get them recovered. The shops in my area wanted $5-600!!!! For basic black cloth!!!! WTF!!! No not I. So today I decided to make a run to the junk yard and browse for some seats. I found a pair of black and gray in near perfect shape. Came from a 1990 eclipse. For $52.00 total. Way more comfy and stylish than the NX seats. I really don't care for our nissan seats. Sorry to say, but nissan didn't make many great seats back in the day. Even the hondas were nicer

^they still arent that great.

i recently sold my 2009 dodge caliber SRT4,not the regular caliber. the seats were the perfect blend of comfort and sport, more than enough side support. i believe they were stock sparco IIRC. if you could find those, man, youd have a killer seat.

To each his own. Frankly I have Recaro seats for one of my cars and I love them. Sentra SE-R seats 91-92 are a close second for me.

91-92 SE-R seats are in all of my B13's and soon going into the B14. Outside of an aftermarket seat ($$) there is nothing better out there. And they are a direct bolt in.
