Yeah that sucks man.. GL with it. You should know what a lifter tick sounds like, its just like tick tick tick tick tick tick, but FAST! lmao

I hate working on my car at times too.. I've put 500 just in maintenance these past 2 weeks... I still need to get another axle, possibly 2, new control arm bushings.... the list goes on! Plus the new clutch I installed slips after breaking it in.. I'm going to have to get my money back or some shit.. I feel your pain lol

Yep. At idle you can't even hear it. It gets faster with rpm, but never real fast.

exhaust gasket leak?
Sounds like what mine is doing the Primary-secondary gasket is leaking,so it soulds like a puffft sound and ticking at the same time..
....annoying as hell in a drive thru window:o

I think I've worked through all those lol. I know it's good at the secondary, but it could still be leaking at the head.

Could it be rodknock? Mine didn't sound like it on my car but it was , have you done a lot of high rpm driving for extended period of time, I think I got it by down shifting to get off an exit

Nah you can hear that it's in the top near the valve cover.

SR's are loud. It may be the autochondriac in you speaking out.
