Every time I work on my car....
I remember that at times I FUCKING HATE working on my car. It's sat in my garage since october when I last drove it. Recently I pulled the valve cover and set the exhaust cam back to 0, so today I went to readjust the timing. It'd be easier to figure out the meaning of life, than to set the timing right on my car OR even get the pos to idle right lol. To add it all, it's got a ticking coming from the head that it didn't have before. Great.

Change the oil, I just changed the oil on my VE for the 1st time since May(was only driven maybe 600 miles) and the car sounds great with fresh oil...

switching to a high quality synthetic could help if you havent already.

and when you get upset, just walk away, take a deep breath, grab a brewski and get back to it lol. everything will be ok.

My 1.6 has been sitting since july waiting for a timing chain, my se-r has been sitting since november (well except for the 350 miles before it got rod knock again) waiting for the new(er) engine

royal purple breaks down quick. I used it in my ve car for about 500 miles and then removed it.

Well mine doesn't have many miles on it per se, but they were HARD miles lol. I typically only drive it to the drag strip and back.
