Seatpan brackets broken
Can anyone explain why this happens to my seat? This is the second one. I only weigh 224-229.

Not sure what's causing that. Since I've owned my car I've weighed anywhere from 230 up to 300lbs and have never done that lol.

Huh?

I got a new seatpan reinforced in those spots thanks to Businessman24. Hopefully this is the end of this problem

I'll throw out a similar issue with my seats.

On both seats, one of the headrest-insert-tubes, which are inside the seat, have broken away from their weld spot. Leaving one side of the headrest wiggling back and forth. In both cases I had to strip the seats, get to the metal head-rest insert tube, and have it re-welded, then re-assemble the seat.

To this day I have no idea why either one broke.

I have had a horizontal bar tac welded in my seat years ago because it sorta protruded and squeaked like hell. Lol
