Thread: Awesome homecoming! =(

so me a couple buddies take an 11 hour road trip yesterday and when i get home at 7am my buddie (lynchfourtwenty) notices my driver side window is busted looking more all they did was break the window....destroy the stereo and steal the old registration's and receipts for stuff and a couple copies of my dyno sheets.

All and all could be worse but now i have a busted window and no idea how I'm gonna get a new one.....this is my DD and my family's ONLY car....and now with the window busted in the middle of winter i can't put my 2 month old in our only car.....I'm so fucked

Bastards... Be happy thats all they stole... I feel like we can't even freakin have a glass window anymore.. Hopefully someone in the neighbor hood saw something. I'm always looking out for that kind of stuff since a car gets broken into on my street at least every 3 months..

thats the really fucked up part....this is a nice area....i walked around a little and nothing else got broken into....there was a pickup parked on the street in front of my house all night too.....finding a window is my goal now

That sucks man. Your car is an nx? Maybe pm bennito. I know theres an extra door that I think has a window floating around pdx. Not sure if he gave it to the guy when he sold his nx though.

If they took the dyno sheets they may be thinking about coming back, they may be researching how to start the car now that they know what kind of security you have, I would put some motion sensing lights up outside, or even a game camera (the ones used to take pictures of animals with the motion sensor)

Do you have any kind of theft coverage on your car insurance, they may replace the window for you

no insurance coverage for that...i bought 6 months basic coverage just to get her on the road for now....it was parked right next to a motion light and less than 10 feet to the next house.....pic's just came through....you'll see how fucked up this is in a few more mins....prolly a few kill switches before the end of the day....1 minimum for sure....oh..and killed the battery by knocking the hazards on.

starting to think god hates my family....last saturday i had to take my baby to the ER on the day he turned 2 months and the next morning my girls dad passes away.....saturday we go to the funeral and sunday morning i find my egg defiled....starting to hate weekends


P.S. I think grandma is just gonna have to let me park in the garage(god i hope so!)

they didn't even get into the hatch to see the recently removed FMIC or tools or that little box with gauges and goodies in it....even left the tools sitting on the drivers side back seat floor

Punk kids in the area trying to get into a gang... happened to me once with my integra. I leave my cars unlocked so they don't have to break a window Karma is a bitch and so is a 9mm in the azz. I have NRA stickers on every window practically, so even if they do approach the car, they'll think twice about stealing anything knowing that the owner has guns and is allowed to protect his property. In Houston alone, there have been several store owners who have killed theives in broad daylight. When we say, don't mess with Texas, we mean it. By the looks of how your car is, I'd say it was just punk kids and nothing more. They had no idea how to remove a stereo... just goes to show you.

the worst part i think is that NO other cars in the area got hit....i walked around this morning at like 7:30 and no other cars got broken into....not even the UNLOCKED truck parked infront of the house with cd's and shit spread EVERYWHERE......sometimes i swear god hates me
