Thread: Engine SWAP for $400!!

Ok so I am posting this due to the fact that many of you guys who don't do your own mechanic work get ripped off quite frequently. My buddy wanted a direct swap for his 98 sentra (1.6), he took it to a shop that was charging the lowest which was $650 just for a direct swap. So they tell him it's going to take a few days.Two weeks later no car, they lost an oxygen sensor and made him buy a new one @ dealer price + 5% or more (I know cuz i used to work @ a shop), and also a new knock sensor even though he had no cel on previous. After all that they could not get the car to start so the charged him extra for that as well. His bill total went from $650 to $1125. So basically I am offering my service and experience with Nissans to swap your de to de, or de to ve for only $400. I have done many Nissan swaps befor including my 3 b14 swaps. I am going to post pics of cars and trucks I have worked on, mostly nissans. PM me if you are interested.

that not a bad deal my buddy paid some one 700 to help him swap in a 7m motor in to his 87 supra and turbo it as well

ya thats a dope deal. ive charged 5-8 hundo to do swaps for people.
