what he said^. If the tob isnt in the clips all the way, its only a matter of time before it comes all the way out and you have to drop the tranny anyway. I know it sucks but sometimes these things happen. good luck

My gut tells me you just need to adjust your clutch cable and/or remove any sort of spacer you have on there (you have the opposite problem from those who need a spacer). The link to the old forum does seem to have your exact issue explained in it too.

That's what I'm saying.. I took off the clips and bent them down to fit nice and tight on the new TOB... The clutch cable is all the way extended out so I mean maybe if I just give it a little more slack then adjust the pedal I'll be fine as its stated in that thread.
