Thread: so im looking to swap- need some info

okay, so i drive a 93 nissan nx(not my only vehicle) im looking to sr20det or sr20ve swap. im a mechanic/body man so all the tools i need are available at anytime. my question is since theres not a bunch of wiring videos and stuff like a 240. convince me what swap i should do. the less wiring the better. not really looking to break the bank either, it seems that a det swap is initially more expensive then a ve motor wise, but how about all the little stuff? you guys would know better then i would since some have you have done it. help is greatly appreciated!

is your NX a 1.6 or a 2.0?

DET motor and be done. Not really any wiring you have to do unless you doing gauges. All the plugs are pretty much the same. And i honestly i think that VE is more expensive.
