no gears!!
hey guys i was wondering if you guys can give me some ideas on what to check? the other morning i was taking my daughter to school and i couldnt get any gears? just earlier i was coming home from work and she was fine so im thinking the throw out bearing or clutch and my good friend klassicrican also thinks the same. i just havent had anytime to deal with it maybe this weekend but when the car is not running it catches all the gears so i dont think its the tranny, thanx guys and have a good day

yeah spring popped out, i had the same problem, i upgraded to the oem b15 disk and pressure plate, i got it from greg v in his vendor section on here, not sure what your power requirements are or will be but if its a dd i would go oem b15, it has held up for me for 2 years now

i have seen that on there site and the combo is like $350 i heard good things about it but i know a lot of you guys dont like jgy but i bought things from them in the past when i had my first b13 and i had no issues, but they have a clutch kit for $255 and it holds like 290ft/lbs and yes its a dd with few mods but no big plans for turbo or anything just dependable.

like others have said before, check your clutch cable(could just need an adjustment) prior to dropping the tranny. 2nd when the cable checks out if the tranny goes into gear while the car is off it is definatly the clutch disc...

seriously, check the cable first. could be broken or stretched.

if you replace it make sure to use ONLY AN OEM NISSAN CABLE. You will regret it if you don't
