p0100 MAF malfunction...

So what exactly does that mean? I need a new sensor?

where you reading this? nissan datascan? I've never seen that one. Check the MAF ground maybe?

OBD2 Scanner. I know... that's why I'm stumped. But ya know... it might be the ground. But I haven't had any issues since the original MAF re-ground writeup I did. 9 years later and it's gone bad? I will check it.

OBD-II Trouble Code: P0100 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Malfunction

According to the description, your MAF or MAP sensor depending on vehicle, is giving an Voltage to the ECU which is out of range.

Under normal circumstances it is safe to assume your sensor has worn out. But there is the chicken and the egg problem. Easiest way to find out is getting a known good sensor, which might make you end up with 2 working sensors and still the ECU throwing that error code.

Yea... figured it out... Apparently the ground went bad. Traced it back to find it out. So other than that making the car run so super rich as a diesel... it burn my new iridium plugs.
