I like em,they look nice.
My only concern would be what happens if they fail or strip...then you have a bigger hole to deal with than you started with..

I know what you talking about, so far we haven't seen this kind of issue. These bolts use L wrench instead of Ratchlet with sockets so the chance to fail or strip is much less then 6 points bolts. Don't over tighten your bolts...

they are fender bolts why would tou even need or think of tightening them to the point where they might strip? thats just what i think

oh becuase he was asking me if... so that's why i answered him, i agree with you there is no point to tightening down with so much force.

Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking more like corrosion, not overtightening.I guess I should have clarified that.
However those door latch ones should be pretty tight, but I agree the fender ones not so much.
In the past,I have used something similar we called a "nut-sert" basically the same thing, except the kit came with a tool that was like alot like a pop-rivet gun to set the nut/insert.
They work really good.I used them instead of self-tappers to install bug sheilds on trucks so you could take it off to clean under it.(that was back in my "truck accessory days"..lol
I may pick some up,probably black and silver.but I will wait until you have a good amount available.
