B13 ABS sucks. At leas the 3 classics Ive driven with ABS brake a lot less than mine with non ABS, and sometimes they didnt brake at all after you hit a speedbump or something... Sucks!

B13 ABS is primitive and counterproductive.

I believe it is a 2-channel system, but the last time I tried to remember I think I got it wrong. A 2-channel system has the front-left tire and rear-right tied together so that if one slips, braking on both is modulated. Same goes for the opposite pair. That means if both front tires slip on a poor surface, you lose all rear braking too. And vice versa.

The G20 has a 3-channel system I believe? Where the front two tires are on individual channels, and the rear tires are on the third channel. This isn't great either, but at least a step up from the other system.

Modern cars obviously have a 4-channel system and even those don't have good ABS logic behind them sometimes.

The B13 ABS is a joke and IMO a safety hazard.

If we had a dedicated brake section, I could find the previous thread on this topic.
As it stands now I've been searching and I can't find it.

Found one semi-related thread and Keo confirms the B13 is a 2-way system.

you can see it is a two way system based on the master cylinder and the dividing valves. The B13 is pretty rough abs wise and I have always disabled it.

^^Is the fuse on the engine bay? where excaly is it. To pull your whole abs sistem you need to get a non abs master cylender lines nd remove abs lines nd intall the non abs distribution block? I hate this abs stuff all ready...

I make deliveries for my job in a 2011 chevy express. It scared the shit out of me the other day when I went down a steep short hill and had to stop for a red light. I hit a pot hole and the ABS thought I was slipping, so it let go. The 2008 model I was driving was the same. That being said I think no matter what year, or what car they all do that and suck. Abs is flawed in the way its sensors work no matter the make or model. Brakes should all be manual period. Our safety is compromised giving us a so called safety feature. Remember that flawed brake system on the toyota electric car failing on almost every car a while back? Manual brakes are the way to go. That proves my point.
