Personally, if I was going to steal one of your cars, I would not even consider STARTING the motor. I would bring a truck and tow your car away in 14 seconds.

It's just a something I would like to do to try at least. If I could afford lo-jack I wouldn't be putting it in a Sentra that's for sure.

as long as your car is blocked in by another vehicle or 2 you in decent shape for anyone trying to steal your car... they would have to move another car to get to yours and that is usually enough to stop someone

i love my club... turn it around so the key hole faces the windshield and lock it in place where my shifter stops it from moving one way and the windshield stops it from moving the other. only problem is if you could loose a windshield if the thief is stupid

If you know how to do it, it only takes about 15 minutes to install one of these switches. A cheapo switch is like $5 and a bit of extra wiring from Home Depot is like $3 (if you don't already have a spare couple of feet sitting in your toolbox). Not a lot of money and not a lot of time. Does it stop the car from being stolen under all circumstances? Nope. As you mentioned there are ways. However, I figure the manual transmission stops about 30% of potential thieves, a fuel pump switch another 50%, and a starter switch another 15% or so. To take the time, energy, and risk (people notice big trucks towing cars) to bring a flatbed truck to steal a lowly Sentra seems like a lot of work.
